Emily received her BS and MS in Polymer Chemistry from Kyoto University in Japan where she focused on the role of exosomal glycosphingolipids in oncogenesis. She is now pursuing a Ph.D. in molecular engineering at the University of Chicago. In her free time, she likes dancing, crafting, and taking care of her two baby kittens.
