Dr Jayanta Bhattacharyya did his Ph.D. from IICT, India and postdoctoral studies at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Duke University, USA. In 2017, he joined as an Assistant professor in Centre Biomedical Engineering, IIT, New Delhi, India. His lab use chemistry and engineering approaches to iteratively design, synthesize, characterize, evaluate and validate next-generation biomaterials with the goal of making a translational impact on improving human health. He is visiting U Chicago to learn in vitro device and murine disease models.
