Sophie Hua

Undergraduate Researcher

Sophie is a second-year undergraduate student from Boston, MA, pursuing a B.S. in Molecular Engineering on the bioengineering track and a minor in Immunoengineering. She is broadly interested in the role of the immune system in cancer and how immune responses can be harnessed in the treatment of cancer. Sophie currently works with post-doctoral researcher Sheridan Swan to investigate the role of lymphangiogenesis in cancer therapeutics and tumor control. Outside of the lab, Sophie is a member of the university’s chapter of the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers, and enjoys cooking, running, and doing crossword puzzles.
